The South Island of New Zealand is a natural wonderland that captivates with its breathtaking beauty. From snow-capped mountains to lush rainforests, golden sand beaches to pristine lakes, the South Island boasts an awe-inspiring landscape that leaves visitors in awe. I resided in Queenstown for 6 months in 2017. Some parts reminded me of Banff, Alberta, which gave me an “at home” feel. Other views made me feel like I was in a tropical destination; one road would lead to snowy mountains, the other to gorgeous ocean scenery. There was never a shortage of something to look at.
